Reviews Overview

Most Liked

The fish and chips are undeniably the standout favorite among visitors. Many rave about the thick pieces of fish, which are expertly fried with a crispy batter that provides the perfect crunch. Customers repeatedly highlight the friendly service from the owners, Scott and Helen, who add a personal touch to every interaction. The clean and tidy shop further enhances the dining experience, making customers feel comfortable as they enjoy their meals. Plenty of diners appreciate the excellent portions that leave them satisfied. Regulars often mention how it's become their go-to spot, with many remarking on the quality surpassing anything else they've encountered in Yorkshire.

Most Disliked

While the majority of reviews celebrate the food and service, a few visitors have noted that during peak hours, wait times can be longer than expected. Some have mentioned their disappointment when their favorite menu items are temporarily unavailable. A handful of customers have also pointed out that the shop can get quite busy, which might dilute the tranquil experience they initially sought. Though it's rare, a few patrons feel that items can be on the greasier side, especially if you prefer a lighter take on traditional fish and chips. Overall, these minor issues don't seem to overshadow the positive experiences shared by most customers.

Chapel Street Chippy Queensbury. Fish Special : 22 miles : 50 minutes to get there. Big fish, had to break it to fit in the box, also threw in a dozen chips. Best Fish N Chips I’ve ever had. 5/11/2024 Just been back again today, it's still the best Fisn N Chips ever...
